FAQ's

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation. We all go into hypnosis at some stage every day, primarily via daydreaming, but don’t recognise it to be the case. It is during this state of relaxation that our subconscious becomes accessible and receptive to suggestion and the therapist can do their work more effectively.

Is hypnosis safe?

Yes, it is perfectly safe and, as previously mentioned, is merely a state of deep relaxation.

Will I ever lose control?

No. you remain in full control at all times and can, if you choose to do so, come out of hypnosis voluntarily and put a halt to the session.

What is the conscious mind?

It is the thinking part of your mind. It is the logical part of your mind that governs the here and now.

What is the subconscious mind?

The opposite of the conscious mind. It does not think, it isn’t logical. It does however act as our data base and drives why and how we react to things.

Does hypnotherapy work?

Yes, it can work but is fully dependant on the client being receptive to its possibilities. You must want to be hypnotised for it to be an effective method of healing.
